#1 Dream

Some days I just think to myself, "oh my heavens I just want a baby so bad!!!"
Then I remember I have to get a husband first.
Then I remember that I have to have a boyfriend first.
Then I remember that before that, I have to go on dates (which I doooo {Nacho Libre accent}).
Ughhh.
Darn this impatient mother inside of me.  Darn, I say! *Fist shake* ;) (Really though, I love it.)

[I'm so excited!!]

In the mean time, I love life cuddling with my nieces and nephews and buying them gifts and I may or may not buy my future babies gifts at the same time...they go right in my hope chest.  Like I'm going to afford to buy them things when I actually have them....so stock up now, eh?  Judge me as you will.

No, I'm not miserable and moping because of the place I am at in my life.  I'm quite pleased with where I am at.  I love investing myself in my life here in Logan.  I love being 1st counselor in the Relief Society Presidency.  I love making new friends.  I love going to school and dreaming about the assignments the Lord has in store for me.  I love that He is molding my life and me - into the person HE needs me to be.
Also I love love and marriage and babies and things like such as.  :)  *Content sigh*...Someday.  But for now I dream.  And it moves me.

Hello, Sweet Love

Alivia Joy Russon
born 5:08 p.m. August 26th 2013
6.10 lbs 19"
Perfect in every way!

I love being an aunt.  This little girl was waited for for a long time in our little family.  Matt and Stacy knew that there was one more comin' but had a hard time getting pregnant for a while.  Stacy miscarried a couple times as well.  This story is similar to mine!  Apparently I was waited for for a long time as well, and I was the baby to complete our family.  That's why they gave me the middle name of Joy!  When Matt and Stacy found out that she was on her way, they knew they would give her the middle name of Joy.  They say that every time they thought of her name, they thought of her "special aunt Hannah Joy" too, and how she and the new babe would have a special little connection.

Us girls are the cabooses of our families, Livi girl, and I can't tell you how much I love this spot in our family.  It is so much fun!  It means that you have SOO many people looking out for you - backing you up.  Always.  You have some amazing examples over you!  Even though you are the 7th niece, and the 14th grandchild in our family, it doesn't get old!  I was so excited for you to get here!  Remember that your aunt, Hannah Joy, is always here for you to talk about mean junior high girls, cute boys, hard classes/teachers, our Savior, and anything else in the world!  Mostly remember that I love you no matter what!  Welcome to our forever family!

Seven Peaks Madness!

This summer my sister's family, Adam, and I all got passes to Seven Peaks for a really good deal.  Adam has been workin' hard and hasn't been able to come much, but Shand and the kids and I have gone several times.  We just pack a lunch, head over in the morning, then play until we can play no more.  I love going to help Shandee with the little ones.   It has actually just been one more thing to make me really excited to be a mommy one day.  Sometimes while Shandee is off with the older three, and I am left alone with the babe, I guess people there probably think he is mine.  He looks enough like me haha.  I don't really want the eye candy life guard who has been there every time to think that, but he is probably only like 17 anyway.  Oh well.  One can admire from afar.  So!  Here are some fun pictures of a few of our excursions!
Lunch time!
Me and the boys!
Little squishy lovin his mama.
Dinosaur kiddie pool.   We probably spend most of our time over here.
Jacksonian and Cabes gettin' ready to cross the monkey bars of death!  Not really.  The water is only like 3 feet deep, so it's fine.
Jarom even likes the occasional slide.
Awesome picture of Lyndee.
Jare-bear kept sayin' "raaaawr."  He really likes thems dinos.

One of the babe's favorite things to do is sit on the edge of the pool and lean/fall in so I can catch him.

Little squishy lovin' his "nah-nah" (as they all call me before they can properly pronounce my name).
I sure don't mind.
Lynds likes the dinos too.  I think she mostly likes to sit up there in order to catch the cute lifeguards' attention.  Ahh...like aunt, like niece.  ;) I was totally like that when I was little - had crushes on all my siblings friends and all.
Good thing I've learned a few things since then, eh? haha.
Such fun wears us right out!!  Ha, he fell asleep on me while we were riding the waves in the tidal pool.  I can't get enough of this tender little guy!
Well, there ya have it!  I have sure enjoyed getting to spend extra time with this cute little family, and would highly recommend getting passes next summer!  That's all for now.

What I've been up to...

PICTURE STYLE!

I went to this little guy's blessing!
Despite his face in this picture, I am pretty sure
I am his favorite aunt.  Yup.
Sheesh!  I love him!
I tried out for this.....
and had one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
Of which I will probably share more about, later.
Attended my first day of my second year of college!
Got reacquainted with last year's roomies, and was reminded
of why I chose to live with them again (they are the best!!).
Welcome new roomy, Brianna!
Oh yeah.  Remembered what Friday nights in Provo are like.
Went swimming lots!
Went on one last trip to St. George
Spent a week out on Pineview lake with my favorite people in
the Universe.
And was just crazy with my friends and fam!

New baby!

Welcome to the family little buddy!  This little guy came into the world June 9, 2011.  He came really fast, too!!  His mommy's water broke, they sped to the hospital, and he was born 9 minutes later.  No time for pain meds.  My sister is superwoman!  All is well, and he is so cute.  He fits right into the fam.  He already looks like his siblings.  His name is Jarom David Young. What a miracle!
I'm an aunt for the 13th time!  I love this job.
Handsome boy, beautiful mommy.

Great start to a great summer!!

1. As many of you know, I got to go to LONDON!!  It was so amazing.  I seriously felt like I was in a movie or something.  My parents sent my brother Adam and me to visit my cousin Kellee and her cute little family.  They live there because Kellee's husband, Jared, is going to school there.  This was honestly one of the most awesome experiences of my life.  There is so much history there.  I loved learning about all of it, and actually being in the place that the history took place.  I learned so much!  This was definitely not a relaxing vacation; it was one of those ones where you get up early every morning, and you run around sight seeing the whole day until you are completely worn out.  It was soooooo worth it though!!  We even got to see two Broadway shows (well London's version of Broadway).  Of course we went shopping, and I was very pleased with my purchases.  One of my favorite things we did was go to a Butterfly house.  Okay.  I LOVE butterflies.  Anyone who knows me, knows that I have a little bit of an obsession with them.  They have a lot of significance for me, and I just adore them.  I was in heaven with hundreds of beautiful, exotic butterflies fluttering about.    Just getting to spend time with one of my favorite cousins was also one of my favorite parts.  We would stay up late just laughing our heads off while telling embarrassing stories, or quoting different movies.  I can't wait until they move back to Utah!!  I already miss the little babies.  Adorable.  So anyway, this isn't really a cute, fanciful written post but I just thought I would share.  London is AMAZING!!  You need to go.  :)
All of the "flats" are laid out like this.  They are so dainty and movie-like.
Most of them have little front gardens with a tiny gate,
and roses or vines climbing everywhere.

Les Mis!  Adam and I are sort of musical geeks.  Whatever.

Probably my very favorite place we visited.  The Tower of London.
It has so much awesome/creepy history.
It was built in 1078!  Can you believe that?!

Big Ben/Parliament buildings.  I wish I would have had my fairy dust so I could go fly by it
like in Peter Pan.  I ran out last week, though. :(
I should have thought ahead.

Westminister Abbey!  Gorgeous.  Also very old and historical and fascinating.

Kelle and her cutie kids.  Jude dude, and Hazel Mei.

So happy.

Best friend

They really liked Hazel.  She did not feel the same affections.

Just chillin' in Hyde park!
2.  I got an awesome job! I work at Sportsmed Physical Therapy.  I am a therapist aid, and I love it.  It is way good experience for me!  I'll also be working for my dad and Russon Brother's Mortuary.  I've done it for years now, but it's good too.

3.  I went on my first temple trip of the summer.  Many more trips planned.  It was so great, and the spirit was strong. I love going there, especially with the people I am closest to.  Umm the temple workers are hilarious, and somewhat awkward.  Story.  So, one of my best friends in the whole world, Garen, and I went to the temple to do baptisms and we were constantly referred to as each other's dates.  The temple worker man kept telling us how great of a "couple" we were that we would go on a date to the temple.  The whole time Garen and I would just kinda look at each other and chuckle, but on our way out, the awkward man told us once again, "thanks so much for making your date a temple trip (or something to that affect.) You guys are great...you gonna do a little hand-holding on your way out?  Okay bye!"
Alright.  Who says that?!  At that point, Garen and I just busted up laughing.  The awkwardness was tangible. They are cute old people just trying to build the kingdom of God, eh?  Kudos to them.  I think we were both bright red, and so we just kept walking out the door.   Anyway, it was just funny, and we had to laugh about it.

4.  First "hang-out" of the summer, my friend Becca and I sat on one couch for like 3 hours not really doing anything because we don't have friends.  We sat and named off people we could call, but all of our best friends were still at school, out of town, on missions, or just plain unavailable.  Awesome.  If that was a precursor of what the rest of the summer is going to be like, Becca Anne and I will get real close.   Haha, it's okay.  We set some excellent goals for the summer, and had some good laughs.  I'd just chill with Becs like that ANY night.  It really is going to be a fantastic summer!

5.  My sister's baby is due in three weeks!  Even though I already have 12 nieces and nephews, I get so excited for those new little ones to join us here on this adventure we call life.  So precious.  We don't know if it is a boy or a girl yet.  We will be surprised!  Look forward to more updates on that. :)

Well, those are just a few things (small to big) that have made me smile so far this summer.  More memories to come! Thanks for reading.  Cheers!
