Happy Easter!

What a fantastic, and fun-filled Easter weekend.  I just love my family!  Saturday we had a small dinner and a big ol' Easter egg hunt with the marrieds and their little families.  It was fun to be one of the Easter bunnies, and hide eggs, then watch and help the little ones find them.  I thought it was an acceptable thing to put some of the eggs in clumps together, but Shandee (my sister) quickly/funnily told me it was not.  She went around and re-hid many of my eggs.  We all had to laugh at Shandee's pregnant, egg-nazi ways.  I then proceeded to hide the eggs in clumps, just to bother her.  :)  Easter morning my parents gave me Elder Holland's new book, Created for Greater Things.  I am so excited to have so many quotes by my favorite apostle.  I love the way he speaks/writes.  You all will probably seeing some of those quotes right here on my blog!  You're welcome.  Anyway, so Sunday we had great lessons in church, and the spirit was so strong.  I prayed for the ability to truly and better understand what the Savior's resurrection means for me.  The day was very peaceful, and as my family gathered once again for our Easter dinner, my dad just gave a little talk to the grandkids about why Easter is special.  I started tearing up as I just listened to my dad talk, and I looked around at my family that I get to be with forever.  This Easter, that is what stood out to me the most.  He is risen, and my family will live together forever.

Brandon- the oldest of the grandkiddies.

Hyrum figured it out, and just went for the candy, rather than the eggs.

Look, Grandpa!!
