I Choose Christ
For the first time in my life I don't feel like a little girl in the gospel anymore.
No more sitting.
I have finally joined the ranks with my family and ancestors gone before.
I have chosen a side,
and the retaliation of the enemy lashes out
and the blows are magnified.
The significance of my choice becomes more evident and clear,
as I see those who were once my comrades hesitate and draw back in fear.
But I, I have assignments to accomplish and roles to fulfil.
The Lord is my strength.
I give my life to His will.
See, it's in the small moments of weakness that I must look forward with fiercness in my eyes,
and yeild to my commander.
For I HAVE CHOSEN CHRIST.
He has given me opportunities of training, and opportunities for my testimony to grow,
and though they have been hard, I am now prepared for battle bruises.
Healing is in the truth that I know.
So join us, I beg you - not because our side is weak and needs to recruit new men -
but because it will be better for YOU.
On this side, you have true friends.
I know this is the winning side, the one with victory in clear sight.
This is a war you know, but I'll have no doubt nor fear,
for I HAVE CHOSEN CHRIST.
